The fragile health system in Papua New Guinea places many lives at risk with COVID-19.
Nation-wide in PNG there are only 14 respirators, 5,000 hospital beds, and 500 doctors. If the corona virus spreads many people will die.
With medical staff remaining in the hospitals and aid posts our registered charity Mustard Seed Global is utilising its mobile health clinics to treat the seriously sick in rural areas. We are also educating rural and often illiterate people about the virus as a preventative measure.
